1. How to access your Whogohost cpanel? (control panel)
CPanel is a fully featured web-based
control panel that allows you to manage your domain through a web interface.
The idea is to transfer as much of the control and responsibility of managing
your web site to you. You have the ability to manage all aspects of e-mail,
files, backup, FTP, CGI scripts, and web site statistics.

2. How to change your cpanel (Control panel) password?
To change the Cpanel password of any of your accounts, you have to log into your WhoGoHost client area by visiting this direct link.
After logging in successfully, click on the Services >>> My Services tab towards the top of the page and then click the “View Details” button towards the right-hand side of the account you would like to modify. You may then click on the Change Password tab to change your password
That is it!
This password cannot include any part of your username.
Ensure that you choose a strong password and that this password is only shared with trusted associates or partners.
3. What is the difference between parked, addon, and subdomains?
An addon domain is a fully functional domain that can be created from your cpanel. Once it’s created it will have it’s own email, and it’s own folder from within the public_html directory. Addon domain url’s look like www.domain.com.
Sub domain url’s look like forum.domain.com cat or domain.com. In other words, the www close to the domain.com is replaced with anything you want.
Parked domains are a place holder site. You park it on top of another site and it becomes a single page of the site you park it on.
4. How do I upgrade my hosting account?
To upgrade your account to a higher plan, follow the steps below: Log into your client area using the official URL to Whogohost. Once you are logged in, you can click on hosting and services on the dashboard.
Alternatively, you can click on “Hosting & Services” and select “My Hosting & Services” Next, select the account you want to upgrade from the list of your services you have purchased from us.
If you have a lot of services, you can use the filter located at the sidebar to get all the active items. Once you have located the item, click on it to open the product information page.
On the product detail page, click on the upgrade button. You will be redirected to the page you want to select the new package Choose the new plan by clicking on the “Choose Product” button. Please you do not change the billing cycle. Select the payment method you wish to use and click on the “Click to continue” button to complete the process.
Once you are done, prorated invoice will be generated for you. When payment has been made for the invoice, your hosting plan will be upgraded.
5. I’m getting IP address has changed errors on my WhogoHost cpanel, how can I resolve this?
Your WhogoHost cPanel will sometimes throw out the error: IP address has changed! This is usually due to you using some kind of proxy or VPN that changes your IP address every few seconds/minutes.
These types of connections will not work with cPanel, you can try going to http://cpanel.yourdomain.com as sometimes that will fix things. If you’re still getting those error messages, you will need to find another connection to connect into cPanel.
6. How do I transfer my hosting account to WhoGoHost?
According to Whogohost, at the moment, they can only assist you with the transfer of all the contents of your hosting account if your old host uses cPanel.
Otherwise, you would have to move the files manually. If your hosting account has a cPanel and you have about 20% free space, then follow the steps below to begin your hosting transfer:
- Purchase a hosting account by visiting this special discount link which gives you a free domain name for life plus a 80% discount on your hosting charge.
- Ensure that the hosting account you are using has the same or more space than your old hosting account. Once your hosting account has been activated, fill the form found on https://www.whogohost.com/hosting-transfer.php.
- A ticket would be opened for you automatically and WhogoHost would update this ticket once they have any news regarding the transfer which takes less than 24 hours to complete.
7. Why was my WhogoHost account suspended?
There are various reasons why your account was suspended. It may have been suspended because it has expired and payment has not been made for the renewal or probably because the account was involved in activities that go against our terms of service.
If your account was suspended because it expired and you would like to restore it, login to your clientarea and click on Billing >>> My Invoices to view the pending invoice for your account.
Once you have made payment for the renewal, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or better yet (if you like fast response like me) you can use the live chat feature on their website to chat with one of their staffs and they would assist you in unsuspending and renewing your account.
